माझं स्वप्नं

(कविवर्य लक्ष्मीनारायण बोल्ली यांची मनस्वी माफी मागून )

                              

काल रात्री मला एक स्वप्नं पडल होतं,

एका रात्रीत अवघं जग बदललं होतं.

सर्व राष्ट्र एकजूट होते,

युद्ध - प्रतियुद्ध घडतंच नव्हते. 

मानवता हाच होता एकमेव धर्म,

माणसाची महानता ठरवत होते कर्म.

पृथ्वीवर नव्हता एका ही भ्रष्टाचारी,

अस्तित्वातच नव्हती कोर्ट अन कचेरी.

कुलूपाविना होतं दार,

कारण तेथे नव्हते गुन्हेगार.

स्त्री पुरुष समानतेचा नव्हता वाद,

शुद्ध, सुंदर, प्रेमळ भाषेत होते संवाद.

राष्ट्र प्रगतीचे स्वप्नं पाहत होते नेते,

माणसा - माणसात होते बंधुत्वाचे नाते.

गुन्हे घडतच नव्हते, म्हणून पोलीस खातेच नव्हते,

गुन्हे घडतच नव्हते, म्हणून पोलीस खातेच नव्हते!

माझे हे स्वप्नं स्वप्नंच होते,
सत्य काही नव्हते,
सत्य काही नव्हते....

This poem is about a dream the poet has of a beautiful, peaceful and harmonious world. He is happy to know that the world is so wonderful but realizes that it was his dream and the early rays of sun now remind him that he is still in this world full of politics, violence, racism and what not.
